Zetl, Paul, 1679-1740, Hilpert, Joannes Jacobus., Wolfle, Andrea., Krauss, Johann Ulrich, 1645-1719, engraver. · 1715 · Dilingæ : Typis Joannis Mauritij Körner · 45 pictures

A Latin emblem book and illustrated life of the Jesuit novice Stanislaus Kostka, engraved by Johann Ulrich Krauss and others and printed at Dillingen by Johann Moritz Körner in 1715 for Jesuit readers and devotional use. Each plate pairs a motto on a ribbon scroll with a small emblem roundel above a framed narrative scene—baptisms, altars, deathbeds, visions breaking through clouds—giving designers ready-made banner cartouches, numbered frames, and crowded interiors in fine engraved line.
