Pinacotheca, siue, Romana pictura et sculptura, libri duo : in quibus excellentes quaedam, qua profanae, qua sacrae, quae Romae extant, picturae ac statuae, epigrammatis exornantur : accessit odarum appendicula, ad lyrici carminis libamentum
A Latin verse survey of Roman paintings and sculptures by Giovanni Michele Silos, printed in Rome by Filippo Maria Mancini in 1673 for readers of learned poetry on art. The plates here are printer's ornament: coarse woodcut flower sprays and a footed urn, plus foliate initials with blossoms packed inside the letterform, usable as headpieces, drop caps and borders.
