Pindarou Epinikoi Isthmionikais = The Isthmian odes of Pindar
A scholarly edition of Pindar's Isthmian odes, Greek text with J. B. Bury's commentary, issued by Macmillan in London and New York in 1892 for classicists and university students. The scanned images are institutional and typographic rather than pictorial: a University of Illinois bookplate framed by a ruled arch with a small pen-drawn vignette of a three-arched arcade, a barcode label, and a letterpress addenda page with Greek type — useful for library ephemera, arch borders, and specimens of Victorian classical typesetting.
