Pinturicchio : biographie critique
A critical biography of the Umbrian painter Pinturicchio written by Arnold Goffin and published in Paris by Henri Laurens in 1908, part of a French series of illustrated artist monographs aimed at students and general readers. The plates are halftone photographs, many from Alinari, of frescoes in lunettes and vaults: crowded processions and audiences under painted arches, grotesque-filled borders, tiered fountains, palm trees and distant hill towns, with saints hovering in mandorlas of angels.
