A 1768 guide to the paintings of Cento and short lives of the town's painters and engravers, written by Orazio Cammillo Righetti and printed at the Stamperia Camerale in Ferrara for local antiquaries and art travellers. The plates here are small letterpress woodcut ornaments: acanthus headpieces, ribbon-tied scrollwork, and repeated cartouches enclosing a tower and landscape, useful as vignettes, chapter heads, and frame devices.
