The planetary system, a study of its structure and growth
A self-published astronomical treatise by Frank Bursley Taylor, printed at Fort Wayne in 1903, arguing how the planetary system was structured and grew, addressed to working astronomers and educated readers. The plates are thin-line orbital diagrams — lunar epicycles traced as looping curves with lettered points and small subscripted labels — set beside dense letterpress pages useful as geometric line art or type texture.
