A short 1904 report by Nina C. Vandewalker on establishing kindergartens within Wisconsin's public schools, printed in Milwaukee by Burdick & Allen for school administrators and teachers. The plates are halftone portraits of educators and kindergarten advocates — bust and seated views, some in oval frames, on plain tinted grounds — useful for period portrait vignettes, fur and brocade textures, and framing devices.
