An archaeological record of Pompeii's excavations after 1819, drawn by Sir William Gell with engravings after Uwins and Henry Moses, published in London in 1835 for antiquarians, architects and collectors. Outline engravings reproduce wall paintings, painted room schemes and street views, giving designers griffin panels, candelabra borders, running scroll friezes and line-drawn classical figure groups.
