Pottery making: an illustrated text book on art pottery making for teachers and artists
An instructional text on art pottery making, written by Judson Thomas Webb and issued by Chicago's Lewis Institute in 1914 for teachers and studio artists. Coarse-screened halftones show single thrown vessels against plain backdrops, plus studio groupings of unfinished ware, giving designers heavy dot-grain textures, plain jar and vase silhouettes, and strong light-to-dark tonal blocks.
