A builder's pattern book by William Halfpenny, printed in London in 1724 by Thomas and John Bowles, setting out the five orders with doors and windows after Inigo Jones for carpenters, masons and gentlemen builders. Copperplate line engravings pair an elevation with a keyed measured diagram, giving pediments, arched openings, panelled doors and rusticated piers usable as clean architectural line art.
