The practical cotton spinner, and manufacturer; the managers', overlookers', and mechanics' companion
A technical manual on cotton spinning and weaving machinery by Robert Scott and Oliver Byrne, issued in Philadelphia by H. C. Baird in 1851 for mill managers, overlookers, and mechanics. The plates are fine-line lithographed elevations and plans of carding, drawing, and spinning machines, dense with gear trains, pulleys, belts, frames and reference letters usable as line-art patterning or diagram fragments.
