Prag
An art-topographical survey of Prague by the Austrian art historian Josef Neuwirth, published in Leipzig by E. A. Seemann in 1912 for German-reading students of architecture and travellers in Bohemia. The 150 halftone photographs record Romanesque towers, Baroque church façades, carved doorways, balustraded palace stairs and courtyards in dark, close-valued grey, useful for silhouettes of towers and gables, ornament details, and heavy-shadow architectural backdrops.
