Praha barokní
A Czech-language survey of Prague's Baroque architecture and sculpture, written by the literary historian Arne Novák and published in Prague in 1915 for local readers of art and cultural history. The thirty plates are grey halftone photographs of palace and church facades, dormered garden wings, gateways and Charles Bridge statue groups, useful for pilaster and window-bay rhythms, cartouche and volute detail, and silhouetted figures against flat sky.
