The present state of old English furniture
A 1921 study of English furniture by dealer-scholar R. W. Symonds, published in New York by Frederick A. Stokes for collectors, dealers and antique buyers concerned with authenticity and restoration. Plates are studio photographs of single pieces against plain grounds: cabriole legs with claw-and-ball feet, carved shells and acanthus, figured mahogany veneers, needlework seats, each isolated cleanly enough to cut out.
