The present state of old English furniture
A connoisseur's study of English furniture by R. W. Symonds, published in New York by F. A. Stokes in 1921 for collectors, dealers, and those judging period pieces against reproductions. Halftone photographs isolate single chairs, console and side tables against plain grounds, with captions dating each piece: useful for carved scroll legs, claw-and-ball feet, pierced splats, and acanthus detail.
