Preservation of flags ... Report
A short 1912 report from the House Committee on Naval Affairs, printed by the Government Printing Office in Washington for members of Congress, concerning the preservation of captured and historic flags. The scanned images are not illustrations but the Library of Congress interleaving tissue: a cream sheet covered in a diagonal repeat of the eagle-and-shield seal ringed by lettering, usable as a tiling background, watermark texture, or seal motif.
