Price list.
A trade price list issued in 1902 by the American Crayon Company of Sandusky, Ohio, to sell school and drawing crayons to dealers and schools. The plates are small engraved drawings of open crayon cartons seen head-on, each face filled with hand-lettered brand names, shield-and-stripes devices, sunburst rays and a Brownie figure, giving designers ready period packaging lettering and box-front layouts.
