The printer's dictionary of technical terms; a handbook of definitions and information about processes of printing; with a brief glossary of terms used in book binding
A 1912 trade reference by Alexander A. Stewart, published by the School of Printing at Boston's North End Union, defining technical terms of printing and bookbinding for apprentices and working compositors. The cuts mix diagrams of type bodies, matrices and press furniture, lettered and numbered for keying to text, with specimen letters shown at graded sizes and a criblé-ground printer's ornament of scrolling foliage.
