Proceedings attending the presentation of regimental colors to the Legislature, April 20, 1864
An official New York State report, printed by Van Benthuysen's Steam Printing House in Albany in 1864, recording the ceremony in which Civil War regimental colors were returned to the legislature. Pictures include wood-engraved trophy vignettes of eagles, cannon, drums and furled flags, plus a color plate of the state arms with the motto banner "Excelsior" and laurel sprays.
