The production of a high grade porcelain from American materials
A 1916 ceramic engineering thesis by Earl Emanuel Libman and Frank Rosenberg at the University of Illinois, testing porcelain bodies mixed from American kaolin, ball clay, feldspar and flint. The plates are hand-drafted ternary composition triangles on green grid paper, with black and red contour lines for shrinkage, absorption and translucency, numeric labels and small ingredient tables in the corners.
