The projective and kinematic geometry of closed polygons
A 1914 doctoral thesis in mathematics by Clarence Mark Hebbert, submitted at the University of Illinois and written for geometers working on projective and kinematic properties of closed polygons. The plates are hand-inked construction diagrams in black with red and blue overlays — lettered polygons inscribed in and circumscribed about circles, pencils of intersecting lines, a guitar-shaped outline, and a slotted-bar linkage — useful as line-only geometric figures, point-and-letter notation, and two-colour overlay drafting.
