A proposed civic improvement plan for Minneapolis and Saint Paul
A 1912 university thesis by Edward Roy Ludwig proposing a City Beautiful scheme for Minneapolis and Saint Paul, submitted in architecture at the University of Illinois and read by faculty and municipal planners. The plates are drafted plans, street and park diagrams, and perspective views of civic centers and boulevards, useful for line-drawn map textures, radial street geometry, and beaux-arts building elevations.
