Domashni byt russkago naroda v 16 i 17 st
Ivan Zabelin's study of Russian domestic life in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, published in Moscow by A. I. Mamontov in 1895 for historians and antiquarians of the tsars' households. The plates are fine-line engraved elevations of timber palaces such as Kolomenskoye, showing tent roofs, scaled shingle domes, log walls, galleries and pennants, with letter keys and Cyrillic captions; usable as outline architectural silhouettes, repeating scale and diaper patterns, and hand-lettered annotation.
