Fors clavigera. Letters to the workmen and labourers of Great Britain
Fors Clavigera collects John Ruskin's serial letters on work, economy and art, addressed to British workmen and labourers and reissued by the Jefferson Press of Boston in 1900. The cuts are small pen diagrams dropped into the text: flat-spiral snail shells in bare outline, one ringed with spines, a shaded shell silhouette, and a ruled grid of curved growth lines.
