A Milanese festival account by Emanuele Tesauro of the public celebrations of 4 February 1630 for the birth of the Spanish heir Baltasar Carlos, printed by the heirs of Melchior Malatesta with plates by Cesare Bassano, Carlo Biffi and Giovanni Battista Crespi for the city's court readership. The sampled pages give woodcut initials — foliate letters and one with figures at a fire — plus a leafy tailpiece wedge and a combed marbled cover in ochre and brown.
