Quaestiones definitae ex triplici philosophia : rationali, naturali, morali : in Parmensi Academia publicè triduum disputae
A Latin volume of set philosophical questions in logic, physics and ethics, argued publicly over three days at the Academy of Parma and printed by Anteo Viotti in 1613, with plates engraved by Francesco Villamena after Giovan Battista Trotti for the Farnese court. Most of the 250 images are calligraphic penwork flourishes struck across letterpress text — looped knots, interlaced ribbons, hearts and swelling tapered strokes usable as rules, dividers and monogram scaffolding.
