Raccolta d'autori italiani che trattano del moto dell' acque
A multi-volume Italian anthology of writings on the motion of water, edited by Francesco Cardinali and including Leonardo da Vinci's treatise on water, printed in Bologna by Jacopo Marsigli in 1821 for engineers and hydraulics students. Engraved plates set numbered figures on open pages: cylinders, vats, weirs and channel cross-sections, spiralling vortices, jet trajectories and ruled angle diagrams, usable as fine-line technical motifs.
