A Roman souvenir album of fifty engraved views of ancient and modern monuments, issued by the publisher Piale in Rome in 1827 with plates after Francesco Piranesi, Domenico Pronti, Cipriani and Cunego, sold to travellers. Small horizontal etchings set porticoes, basilica facades, amphitheatre walls and ruined arches against open skies, with tiny figures for scale and fine hatched shadow useful for architectural line work.
