Rariora; being notes of some of the printed books, manuscripts, historical documents, medals, engravings, pottery, etc., collected (1858-1900)
A collector's catalogue in three volumes, compiled by John Eliot Hodgkin from his own holdings of incunabula, manuscripts, medals and broadsides, and published in London in 1902 for antiquarians and fellow collectors. Reproductions run heavily to early German and Italian woodcuts: outline figures in hooded gowns, beheadings, devils in water, angels with banderoles, useful as coarse-line stock figures.
