Recent progress in the industries of dyeing & calico printing
A technical manual on dyeing and calico printing by Antonio Sansone, published in Manchester in 1895 for textile chemists and works managers. Most plates are mounted swatches of dyed cloth—indigo, teal, navy, scarlet, rust, olive, chrome yellow—set in ruled rectangles on cream stock with numbered captions, usable as period colour references, fabric textures and framed-panel layouts.
