Records of the coinage of Scotland : from the earliest period to the union
A two-volume documentary history of Scottish coinage from the earliest period to the 1707 union, compiled from mint records and statutes by R. W. Cochran-Patrick and published in Edinburgh in 1876 for antiquaries and collectors. The plates are photographic arrays of obverses and reverses laid out in rows on plain grounds, offering crowned shields, royal profiles, thistles, lettered legends and dated rims.
