A Scottish History Society edition of the surviving account books and minutes of the New Mills cloth manufactory in Haddingtonshire, 1681-1703, edited by W. R. Scott and printed in Edinburgh in 1905 for society subscribers and economic historians. Illustration is limited to a sepia photogravure portrait with facsimile signature, the society's woodcut emblem of a woman gleaning within a ribboned frame, and pages of ledger figures usable as tabular texture.
