The reflecting power of various metals
A 1911 physics report by W. W. Coblentz, issued by the National Bureau of Standards in Washington for laboratory scientists measuring how metals reflect infrared light. Plates are line plots on ruled grids — thermoelectric voltage curves in microvolts and reflectivity percentages for rhodium, iridium, iron, chromium and magnesium — plus the engraved Department of Commerce and Labor eagle-and-ship seal.
