Regola delli cinqve ordini d'architettvra
Vignola's rule book of the five architectural orders, first issued in Rome in 1562 and reprinted here in Venice in 1596 by Girolamo Porro, made for masons, architects and their patrons. Engraved plates give elevations, plans and sections of columns, pedestals, cornices and arcaded bays, each lettered with module measurements in Italian, usable as line-drawn architectural ornament and measured detail.
