Remarks on certain dates occurring on the coins of the Hindu kings of Kul : expressed in the Gupta era and in Arabic (or quasi-Arabic) numerals

Bayley, Edward Clive, Sir, 1821-1884 · 1882 · London : [s.n.] · 3 pictures

A numismatic paper by Sir Edward Clive Bayley, printed in London in 1882 for scholars of Indian coinage, arguing about dates in the Gupta era and Arabic numerals on coins of the Hindu kings of Kabul. The plates give line-drawn coin faces in grid rows and strips — horsemen, seated figures, bulls, and numeral and script legends — plus a traced outline of a hand annotated in ink, useful as circular ornament, numeral samples, and stamp-like motifs.
