The reminiscences of Augustus Saint-Gaudens
Memoirs of the American sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens, edited by his son Homer and published by the Century Co. in New York in 1913 for art readers and collectors. Halftone photographs record clay models, plaster casts, bronzes and studio mock-ups, many shot against dark grounds: seated and standing figures, relief portraits, and a painted trial setting for the Boston Public Library.
