Report of the Cambridge bridge commission and report of the chief engineer upon the construction of Cambridge bridge
An official engineering report issued by the Massachusetts Cambridge Bridge Commission in Boston in 1909, documenting the design and building of the Cambridge Bridge over the Charles River for city officials and the engineering profession. Plates combine tinted line plans, cross-sections and elevations with hatched masonry and fill, alongside halftone site photographs of cofferdams, travellers and derricks useful for structural diagrams and construction imagery.
