Report of the Committee of the House of Commons, on ventilation, warming and transmission of sound
A British parliamentary committee report of 1836, published in London by John Weale, on ventilation, heating and the transmission of sound in the new Houses of Parliament, written for legislators, architects and engineers. The plates are engraved acoustic and geometric diagrams: dotted ray fans, reflected sound paths in ellipses and domes, concentric wavefronts, and hatched circular plans with wavy curves.
