... Report on the building and ornamental stones of Canada, vol. I-V
A government survey of Canadian building and ornamental stones, compiled by geologist William Arthur Parks for the Mines Branch and printed in Ottawa in 1912 for quarry operators, architects and builders. Halftone photographs show blasted rock faces, benched granite quarries, cut-stone bank and civic facades, and stacked blocks, with line maps hatching stone-bearing districts along coastlines.
