(Reports)
A volume of Missouri Bureau of Geology and Mines reports, issued by the state geological survey in 1903 for mining companies, engineers and state officials. The plates are captioned halftone photographs of working sites — here a lead company's shaft house and concentrating plant seen down a curve of track, with smoke, telegraph poles and a lone figure standing in the rails — usable for industrial landscape stock, wide low-horizon compositions, and period plate-and-caption layouts.
