Volume of transactions issued from 1856 by the associated architectural and archaeological societies of Lincoln, Northampton and Yorkshire, printed for member antiquaries and clergy recording parish churches and local finds. Pen-and-ink elevations show shingled bell-turrets, timber porches, tiled roofs and leaning gravestones drawn in fine hatching, alongside flat outline diagrams of cross finials and stone profiles usable as silhouettes.
