The pictures are hand-coloured engravings of Regency women in high-waisted muslin gowns, trimmed pelisses, gloves and hooded cloaks, posed beside lyre-back chairs, alongside letterpress pages of market prices and fair dates; usable for costume silhouettes, soft washed colour, and period type texture.
