A London monthly magazine issued by Rudolph Ackermann from 1809, mixing fashion plates, furniture and ornament designs, commercial notices and political comment for well-off British readers. The plates run to engraved sheets of priced borders, cartouches, mourning and allegorical vignettes, chariots and classical figures, emblematic frontispieces with crowns and interior scenes, and small woodcut caricature profiles usable as frames, spot motifs or period portrait heads.
