Reproductions by the collotype process of some of the works in the loan exhibition of pictures, held in the Art Gallery of the Corporation of London, at the Guildhall, 1892 : with descriptive and biographical letterpress
An 1892 exhibition catalogue by Alfred George Temple recording the loan exhibition at the Guildhall Art Gallery, printed in London by Blades, East & Blades for collectors, gallery visitors and the City of London Corporation. Fifty collotype plates reproduce British oil paintings — portraits of women and children, costumed group scenes, crowded outdoor gatherings and garden subjects — in soft continuous grey tones useful for halftone textures, period dress reference and figure groupings.
