Revue générale des mati`eres colorantes et des industries qui s'y rattachent
A French trade periodical on dyestuffs and the textile industries, issued in Paris from the late nineteenth century into the twentieth for colourists, dyers, and mill engineers. The plates are line engravings of dyeing and finishing machinery, shown in elevation and section with lettered parts: rollers, gear trains, belt drives, toothed cylinders, vats and frames, drawn in fine hatching against blank grounds and easy to lift as isolated mechanical motifs.
