Revue générale des mati`eres colorantes et des industries qui s'y rattachent
A French trade periodical on dyestuffs and the industries connected to them, published in Paris in 1908 for dye chemists, colourists and textile manufacturers. The plates are grids of dyed cloth samples mounted on card — reds, ochres, browns and blacks, some as flat rectangles, some as knotted or bowed skeins — each captioned with its dye name and quantity, giving designers ready-made colour charts, swatch layouts and period label typography.
