Rhymes for little hands
A kindergarten teacher's manual of finger-play verses by Maud Burnham, published by Milton Bradley Company in Springfield and New York in 1906 for teachers of young children. Coarse-screen halftones show pairs of hands against black grounds forming birds, roofs, rabbits and other shapes, giving designers high-contrast silhouettes, gesture sequences and heavy photographic grain to reuse.
