Riddles and drawing-room magic : humor for quick and dull wits
A 1907 parlor-amusement handbook by George Schorb, issued by Laird & Lee of Chicago for middle-class families entertaining at home with riddles, conjuring and shadow shows. The line cuts are cropped close on cuffed hands performing sleights with coins, string and folded paper, numbered as instructional figures, plus solid black shadow-pantomime silhouettes against a plain frame.
