Roma delle belle arti del disegno
Francesco Milizia's Italian treatise on architecture and the arts of design, printed by Giuseppe Remondini at Bassano in 1787 for architects, students and connoisseurs. The index holds the volume's small printer's ornaments: coarse woodcut vignettes of urns spilling roses, foliate swags, a crowing bird with spread wings, and an open book with crossed pens on a scrolled bracket, usable as chapter marks, spot devices or rules.
