Romanae et Graecae antiqvitatis monvmenta, e priscis nvmismatibvs
A 1645 Antwerp folio of Roman and Greek coin studies, compiled from Hubert Goltzius's sixteenth-century antiquarian engravings and reissued from the Plantin press of Balthasar Moretus for scholars, collectors and heraldic antiquaries. Each plate arranges profile heads and coin reverses as circular medallions on a stippled ground, joined by ruled connectors and inscribed tablets into genealogical charts of consuls, yielding roundel frames, small emblem vignettes and Latin lettering.
